China-CEE Institute is established by CASS,registered as the non-profitcorporation in Budapest, Hungary. The Institute of European Studies, CASS, and the 16+1 Think Tanks Network are responsible for organizing and managing it.The China-CEE Institute will build ties and strengthen partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks in Hungary and other Central and Eastern European countries. It aims to involve scholars and researchers in CEE countries to carry outjoint researches, field studies, seminars and lecture series, some training programs for younger students, translation and publication,etc. The China-CEE Institute will establish the International Academic Committee, and invite corresponding academicians and associate researchers. The Institute will collaborate with academic institutionsand thinks tanks from CEE countries, including call for joint researches, in line with the 16+1 Cooperation. Professor Wang Weiguang, the President of CASS and the Board Chairman of 16+1 Think Tanks Network, is the Honorary President of China-CEE Institute, while Huang Ping, the Director-General of the Institute of European Studies, CASS, and the Secretary-General of 16+1 Think Tanks Network, is the President of China-CEE Institute.Mr. Luo Jinghui, the Deputy Director-General of the Institute of European Studies, CASS, and Dr. Wang Lei, the Director-General of Bureau of International Cooperation, CASS, are Vice Presidents of China-CEE Institute. Dr. Chen Xin, the Secretary-General of Chinese Association for European Studies and the Director of the Division of European Economics, Institute of European Studies, CASS, is the General Manager of the China-CEE Institute.
